About Real County Records

Real County records can require more than a name search because the county does not publish a public booking roster or photo gallery. This private reference site identifies the Sheriff, the county’s Public Information Act route, court follow-up, and state custody tools. It does not host booking photographs or arrest lists.

Purpose and source approach

Texas public-records rules can make some arrest and booking information available, but they do not mean that every county posts a searchable record or photo. In Real County, the official Sheriff contact is the starting point, the county PIA process is the route for existing records, the clerk and courts address case outcomes, and TDCJ serves a different state-custody role. We organize those distinctions and link to the offices that control the information. We do not collect or display booking-photo galleries.

Limits of this private service

We are independently operated and are not connected to the Real County Sheriff’s Office, Real County Jail, TDCJ, a court, or another government body. Only the originating office can act on its records or give an official status response.

  • We cannot confirm, release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or handle funds for a person.
  • We cannot provide legal advice or resolve a court matter.
  • We cannot guarantee that an office’s contact details, fees, or procedures have not changed.

Only the responsible Sheriff, court, corrections department, or records custodian can confirm custody, charges, release, or the availability of an official record.
